Kenya
Kenya is where Moseville began, and it remains our home ground. This is the country our founding guides grew up in, the roads they learned to drive before they learned to guide, and the landscape that still gets more of our attention and repeat visits than anywhere else we operate. Ask any of our senior crew which park they'd choose to spend a free weekend in, and most of them will still say one of these.
The range here is genuinely wide: the Maasai Mara's open, wildlife-thick grassland at one end, the dramatic volcanic gorges of the Rift Valley at the other, and in between, the guarded private conservancies of Laikipia where some of the continent's most closely protected rhino populations live under round-the-clock ranger care.
Beyond the classic seated game drive, Kenya is where we run our most physically active trips — cycling through Hell's Gate with zebra grazing metres from the trail, rock climbing on volcanic rock faces above the escarpment, and walking on foot with armed rangers alongside rhino. If you want a safari that keeps you in a vehicle seat, we can build that. If you want one that gets you out of it, Kenya is where we do that best.
Nairobi itself, often dismissed as a mere gateway city, is worth a day of anyone's itinerary — a genuinely modern East African capital with a food and arts scene that surprises most first-time visitors who expected only a transit stop.

Maasai Mara
The open grassland most people picture when they picture an African safari at all — home to the country's largest resident lion population and, depending on season, the leading or trailing edge of the wildebeest migration.
Laikipia Plateau
Guarded private conservancies where black and white rhino live under round-the-clock ranger protection, and where our guided walking encounters happen at genuinely close, careful range.
Hell's Gate & the Rift Valley
Towering obsidian gorges and volcanic cliffs you can cycle, climb, and walk through without a vehicle between you and the landscape — the most physically active corner of our Kenya operation.
Nairobi
Our home base and most guests' first and last stop — a modern East African capital worth a day of anyone's itinerary, not just a transit point between flights.
