A guarded, on-foot meeting with white rhino at one of Kenya's most closely protected conservancies.
This single-day trip is built for travellers with limited time who still want a genuine, close conservation encounter rather than a distant sighting through a vehicle window. It compresses the single best moment of our longer Kenya safaris — the guarded, on-foot rhino encounter — into a standalone day trip from Nairobi.
All walks are accompanied by armed conservancy rangers and a Moseville guide, and the conservancy itself runs an active anti-poaching and breeding programme that your guide talks through in detail as you walk — the kind of context that turns a sighting into an understanding of exactly what it takes to keep an endangered species alive on this particular patch of ground.
It's a long day rather than a short one — an early departure and a late return — but it's built to fit around flight schedules and short layovers, for guests who have a single free day in Nairobi and don't want to spend it in the city.

Day 1 | Nairobi to the Conservancy and Back
An early departure from Nairobi reaches a private rhino conservancy by mid-morning. The core of the day is a walk with armed rangers into open grassland to observe rhino at close range — no vehicle, no glass, just careful distance and a ranger's judgement. Lunch follows at the conservancy, then an afternoon game drive before the drive back to Nairobi, timed to have you back well before a late flight.
Prices are in USD, per person, based on double occupancy.
Minimum age is 6 years old
