Moseville Expeditions started on the ground in Kenya, running safaris and active adventures for travellers who wanted more than a seat behind glass. The earliest trips were small, informal, built around whichever guide happened to know a particular stretch of the Rift Valley best — less a company than a loose network of people who'd rather show you something real than sell you a package tour.
That's still the operating model, just with more structure around it. Today we run trips across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda — safaris, summit treks, cycling routes, rock climbs and gorilla trekking — every one of them guided by people who grew up on these trails rather than staff rotated in from somewhere else for the season.
We're not a booking platform reselling someone else's itinerary. Our own vehicles, our own guiding crew, and our own relationships with rangers and conservancies mean every trip is run point-to-point by Moseville, start to finish — from the moment we meet you at arrivals to the last transfer back to the airport.
The name "Meet The Reality" isn't a marketing line we workshopped in a meeting. It's closer to a standing complaint from our founding guides about the safari industry they came up in — too many trips built to look good in a brochure and too few built to actually put you in the landscape. Everything we run since has been an answer to that complaint.

Every Moseville guide has spent years, not months, on the specific ground they take you to. We don't rotate staff between destinations they've never actually lived near.
Small Groups On Purpose
Most of our itineraries cap out well below industry standard group sizes. It costs us more to run trips this way. We do it anyway because it changes what a guide can actually show you.
Conservation Isn't A Slogan Here
Our rhino and gorilla encounters run through conservancies and ranger programmes we have long-standing relationships with — not one-off arrangements made for a single tour group.
